Nonstop shuttle bus line to Shanghai World Expo to be opened

    After the negotiation with the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, Yiwu got a pass to the 2010 World Expo on March 8-a nonstop shuttle bus line to the core area of the Expo. This shuttle bus line will bring much convenience for Yiwu visitors.

    According to some rules, all the private cars from other cities and buses without permission are supposed to be parked at the lot 7 kilometers away from the core part of World Expo. Visitors can only move on by subway or bus to the Expo Center.

    Therefore, officials of Yiwu Municipal Tourism Administration and the department of transportation administration concerned, accompanied by the related principals of Zhejiang Hopeful International Travel Company, went to the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination to discuss the sales of tickets, the organization of visitors, the routes and parking of buses, and so on. Most of all, they also got the pass for the nonstop shuttle bus to the World Expo.
